We would like to clarify some details regarding the recent story about Obilash’s waste disposal.

Members of our staff have heard that people in Ross believe that our restaurant has been fly-tipping and littering waste irresponsibly.

Obilash would like to clarify that this is untrue. We have been fined because the man who disposed of our used cooking oil did not have a licence to do so. He offered us and other businesses leaflets and details which led us believe he was licensed.

It was a genuine mistake. As soon as we found out that he was not licensed, we stopped passing out oil waste onto him. We now dispose of our oil waste with Booker Wholesale.
