Dear Editor

I wish to reply on Jesse Norman’s letter last week. In it he said MP’s who voted for another way had no corporate standing or mandate. Does he think the Conservative Party has a mandate as they have no overall majority, are divided and have made a hash of Brexit?

As the speaker said every MP has a duty to vote with their conscious, is our MP doing this or is he just voting on party lines?

This is a crisis, Mr Churchill dropped party politics in 1940 for the good of the country and so should the government have, right after the referendum and sought a cross party consensus.

Your party, parliament and the country have been reduced to a laughing stock.

Sort it out.
