Dear Editor

I wish to update you and the community with CHAPEL Creatives CIC recent developments.

CHAPEL Creatives CIC and the Landlords of The Barrel recently met for a meeting one month following our letter of ‘intent to lease’. Unfortunately, we were unable to come to an agreement that would allow us to use the building as we would require. Therefore, we wish to request the communities continued support as we move forward with fundraising and a renewed search for suitable premises to provide creative services to the community and look after their emotional well being.

We are still interested in hearing from locally skilled creatives who would like to provide workshops, rent an art studio space, (in the future), and believe in our purpose.

Please get in contact with Mary Deaville for more information and also if you have a premises that you think we may be interested in at [email protected]

As a reminder CHAPEL Creatives CIC is a registered (10690615) not for profit, community interest company. CHAPEL stands for CREATIVES HELPING ALL PEOPLE ENJOY LIFE. We provide creative services to people of all ages and abilities to aid good mental health and emotional well being.

We believe that doing something creative every day helps to ease the stresses of life for that period of time, allowing your body to relax and learn vital coping strategies to use day to day.

We look forward to seeing you at the Ross Baptist Coffee mornings every Thursday and please keep an eye on our Facebook page Chapel Creatives CIC for more events during Mental Health Awareness Week 13th -19th May 2019.
