Inspired by the recent television series 'Last Choir Standing' Laura Salter from Ross and some friends decided they would like to join a choir.

They recently joined a community choir in Hereford called the Fire Choir.  However as much as they are enjoying it, they are finding the travel to Hereford each week quite a chore.

They originally searched for a choir in Ross but only found Ross Choral Society and The Penyard Singers which are both of a more professional nature.  The Fire Choir is a community choir where anybody can join regardless of their singing ability, there are no auditions.

Laura and her friends really feel that Ross would benefit from having a community choir and believe there would be plenty of people eager to join if one was set up. 

They are also looking for a 'musical director' to lead the singing within the choir.
