MADAM, I was very impressed to read the article in last week's Ross Gazette 'Jesse appeals for greater powers for Bank of England' which reported on Jesse Norman's appearance on National TV in Question Time Extra, where he continued his call for a review of financial regulation.

Although Jesse appears to spend much of his time dealing with local issues such as leading the fight to keep Herefordshire's post offices open and championing a University for our county, he also manages to get himself on to National TV dealing with the financial crisis which is hitting absolutely everyone both locally and nationally.

A politician who has the interests of his constituency foremost in his mind yet can still stand up on the national stage and voice his opinion on key issues is just what this county needs.

Jesse Norman is obviously comfortable with both and would be an excellent representative for Herefordshire.
