West Midlands Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 3.10pm on Friday, February 9th, to reports of a patient who had collapsed and was in cardiac arrest outside the Lloyds Bank in Ross-on-Wye.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene and the first crew arrived within seven minutes of the 999 call to find bystanders administering excellent CPR on a man.
Ambulance staff worked as a team to administer advanced life support on the man and managed to successfully resuscitate him on scene.
The man was taken by a land ambulance on blue lights to Hereford Hospital.
A bike, which was on the ground next to the man, was reportedly taken inside the bank to be kept safe following the incident.
