A man was rescued from a house fire in the early hours of Thursday, March 17th. One fire engine from Ross-on-Wye Fire Station, one fire engine from Fownhope Fire Station and one fire engine from Hereford Fire Station attended a house fire in Kings Caple at 12.38am, on March 17th.

Four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one covering jet were used to extinguish the fire.

One person was rescued from the roof by fire service personnel and the casualty was taken to hospital by a paramedic in a community response vehicle.
