By night Garry Jones ‘batters people around the ears’ – and by day he puts them back together again. Martial arts expert Garry runs a Muay Thai boxing club and works as a transformational life coach.

He is an international speaker and has just published a book – ‘A Life Without Fear’, which is published by Panoma Press and is available at all local book stores.

He said: “My methods can be seen as quite provocative. I don’t take any prisoners.

“My martial arts club is full contact and I take the same approach with my coaching. I don’t do fluffy. I tell it like it is.”

As a speaker Garry, who lives in Hereford, has shared the stage with experts such as Dr Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna.

His book is based on his experiences in the worlds of corporate and small businesses, martial arts, mental health and spiritual development.

It provides exercises to help people overcome anxiety and depression which he sees as unnecessary limitations to a joyful life.

He said: “Mental illness is as harmful as physical health issues. I believe that adversity and challenge are powerful methods to create positive and lasting changes. I take some of my clients out into the mountains for a weekend. Nature can allow us to open up and change.

“It is an amazing experience and very humbling. It helps put life into perspective.”

Garry added: “My style doesn’t suit everyone. But if people want a coach who will kick their backside  - I’m their man.”

“A Life Without Fear” is published by Panoma Press.
