Cards for Good Causes has returned to Ross again this year and set up shop in Ross Library in Cantilupe Road.

Amongst the first visitors were the Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr's Chris Bartrum and Jane Roberts and they were delighted to see the excellent variety of goods on offer.

The shop is manned by a group of volunteers under the leadership of Mary Sinclair Powell, who has been managing the shop for the company for nearly 10 years – first in the Market House and now in its new permanent home in the Dennis Potter Room at the Library.

Customer Service Staff from the Library, Louise and Annette were on hand to welcome the Mayor when he called in, with volunteers Claire and Caroline available to help him and the Mayoress make their selections.

There are cards and goods available for sale from at least 30 charities with plenty of different designs and prices to suit all needs.
