Mayor of Ross, Cllr. David Ravenscroft, made someone's Christmas extra special when he announced the latest winner of the £1,000 to Shop in Ross Draw live on Sunshine Radio on Saturday afternoon. Jess Lambert from Hereford is the winner of the third of four draws to take place and receives £250 in shopping vouchers to spend with shops and businesses in the town.

The Mayor was invited to perform the draw on behalf of the Association of Ross Traders (ART), organisers of the event, at Pots and Pieces. There is still time for shoppers to win. The final £250 draw takes place this Saturday. Look out for posters in participating shop windows. Shop in Ross gift vouchers are also available for sale from Pots and Pieces.

Each Thursday up to Christmas is a late night shopping evening in Ross and many shops will be staying open until 7.30pm. Many will also be open on Sunday 18th December too. Parking in Ross is free after 12 noon on Thursday 15th and 22nd December.
