All the candidates who are standing for parliament in the Hereford and Herefordshire South Ward have been invited to a Hustings Event in John Kryle High School. The meeting will take place on Friday, April 23rd and will start at 7.30pm.

The meeting is being organised by Churches Together in Ross and District. The Reverend Sarah Jones told The Ross Gazette: "This will be a super opportunity for the residents of the area to come and meet the candidates and to ask them questions. It will also be a chance to for them to share their views with the candidates."

Hereford and Herefordshire South Ward is one of the UK's more marginal constituencies and the former MP Paul Keetch has retired.

'Although the event is being organised by the local churches it is not a religious event," says Sarah. "The questions will come from the local residents."
