Staff, family and friends from Man of Ross turned out in force on Friday April 1st to bid a fond farewell to Bert and Ted Haggett. Bert and Ted are from a large Llangarron family – five girls and five boys – who grew up in a three bedroomed cottage. "In their time all ten have worked for Man of Ross," said Andrew Jackson. Brother Dennis and two sisters, Muriel and Ruth, were also there. "They are very loyal and much loved. Nothing is too much trouble," said Andrew. Bert the eldest brother is 76 and has been with Man of Ross for 25 years and Ted, 74, has been with them for five. This isn't a complete retirement however. Both intend to come back to help out now and then. Any spare retirement time they intend to spend tending their garden at home in Llangarron.
