The flower bed in Copse Cross Street has been transformed thanks to Councillor Hannah Lerego and a Ross florist.
Hannah, and her daughter, spent four hours at the weekend weeding the flower bed in Copse Cross Street. They had to remove dead plants, weeds, rubbish and lots of broken glass.
Bedding plants supplied by Designer Flowers now fill the space and have turned a drab corner of Ross into an attractive addition to the town.
Hannah told the Ross Gazette:?“Our town has the potential to be very beautiful if we all do our little bit. I look forward to seeing more projects like this around Ross.”
Councillor Richard Mayo confirmed that several other businesses have come forward to volunteer their time, money or expertise in taking over, or sponsoring, various flower beds and areas around the town.
