The children who won prizes in the Mrs Tiggy-Winkle Tea Trail came in to the Ross Gazette office last week to collect their goodies. In addition to the children pictured, Golda and Seth Moore each won a small hedgehog toy.

The event was organised by the Ross Hedgehog Festival Committee, as a celebration of Beatrix Potter’s 150th birthday. One of the author’s most well-known characters was brought to life at various businesses around Ross on Sunday, July 31st.

Local families and visitors were invited to take part in the tea trail. Refreshments were available along the route, and children and their parents enjoyed taking part in several activities along the way.
