ross were narrowly defeated on Sunday in this very close IMI Mouldings cup semi final game. Both teams were determined to win as this was the last chance for some silverware this season. Leominster scored first with Ross equalising moments later after Alex took a corner that found Chadd, who half volleyed the ball into the net.

Both teams showed some nice football towards half time and just before the break Leominster found the back of the net again. In the second half the twins Lewis and Scott came on and Ross were playing some of the best football that they have all season but were unlucky on more than one occasion.

Leominster made it 3-1 with just five minutes remaining. Then Ross got one back after Alex slotted in the ball from a narrow angle but as the game restarted the ref blew the final whistle.

The ref's Megabounce man of the match was Marmion and the manager's most improved player was Sub.
