Local mums and dads are celebrating the relaunch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) Branch in Ross-on-Wye.
A welcome meeting will be held to look at local parents’ needs and discuss suggestions for forthcoming Branch activities and events. The meeting will take place at Hope’s Treasure Tea Shop on Thursday, February 9th at 10.30am.
The NCT Ross-on-Wye Branch is one of the NCT’s network of over 300 local branches in the UK, run by volunteers and dedicated to supporting parents via a range of services including antenatal and postnatal courses, breastfeeding support, bumps and babies groups, coffee mornings, Nearly New Sales and much, much more.
Catherine Bartlett, NCT Volunteer Manager said: “Above all parents need support and friendship. We want to help parents-to-be and new parents get together to form a friendly and accessible support network. Sadly we had to close the branch in 2015 due to a lack of volunteers but we have an amazing response to our call for help to relaunch the branch. We welcome new ideas and there are lots of ways to get involved, so please do come along to the meeting, give us your suggestions and let us know if you can help in any way. Babies and children are very welcome to join us for the meeting”.
