The Malvern Hills NCT Branch is very excited to announce the launch of a brand new walking group ’Mondays up the Malverns’. This is a friendly, family walking group meeting every Monday at 10:30am for Mums, Dads, Carers, Babies and Toddlers.

Mondays up the Malverns first walk is on Monday, August 29th (Bank Holiday Monday) from 10:30-11:30. The group will set off from from Blackhill car park (nearest postcode: WR13 6DW). You’ll need a sling or baby carrier and sensible footwear.

The sling walks are led by Malvern Hills NCT volunteers on different routes across the Malvern Hills. They welcome both local mums and dads as well as families visiting on holiday, and you don’t need to be an NCT member to come along.

Malvern Hills NCT are thrilled to have gained a grant from Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) to support the new group. They have used the grant to purchase baby slings, which will be available for free long term loan. David Armitage, Assistant AONB Partnership Manager, said: "We’re so pleased to be able to help new mums and their babies take the tonic of fresh air, exercise and friendship, all in a beautiful landscape."
