THE Mayor of Ross-on-Wye Councillor Daniel Lister will be offering residents a chance to meet for a one-to-one chat virtually from next week, allowing them to ask questions or raise concerns.

The new initiative, called ‘knowing me, knowing you – a chat with the Mayor’ is to be run as a weekly slot starting on Wednesday May 27 for one hour from 1pm. There will be the opportunity for local people to contact the office and book a slot which will last for 10 minutes. Participants will be asked to leave their contact details and then be sent an online link, giving information about how to access the meeting. If there is a high demand then Cllr Lister will look at expanding the time to enable all those who are interested to participate.

The mayor will not be aiming to try and respond to everyone’s questions there and then, and might need to get back later with further information. Anyone wishing to get involved will be asked to contact the office on 01989 562373 or by email on [email protected] and provide email contact details as well as phone numbers. There will be a virtual waiting room and the Mayor will allow people access from this area when it is their allotted time.
