A woman, who was badly injured in a car crash in Herefordshire, has raised more than five hundred pounds as a thank-you to those who saved her life.
Nicole Leader from Gorsley in Gloucestershire was a passenger in a car which collided with another at Old Gore Crossroads near Ross-on-Wye on December 2nd, 2008.
Two rapid response vehicles, two ambulance crews and a BASICS doctor from MARS (Mercia Accident Rescue Service) attended.
There were three other passengers in the car Nicole was in. Nicole was the most seriously injured with rib and collar bone fractures and a punctured lung.
Nicole said: "They got me out of the car and treated me in the ambulance on the roadside. They were all working on me. The rest is a blur. The next thing I knew I was in hospital."
