Dear Editor,

Having attended the Ross-on-Wye Remembrance Service on Sunday, Nomember 8th, (where the weather was decent) I must commend all involved.

I must say a small band was a new and good idea. The did not play marching music, which I think glorifies war.

By the way, is it my imagination or was the Chase Fireworks Display a lot shorter than usual? I don’t mind as I am a dog owner.
