Ross XI started off the season well with their first game beating Ledbury Swifts 2 - 1 on Sunday September 18th.

A slow start for Ross XI which resulted in some great goalkeeping from Ryan. Captain Joe was commanding from the defence, encouraging the team excellently. After 15 minutes Ross XI started to dominate Ledbury's half of the pitch. A save from the Ledbury keeper resulted in a loose ball outside the area, which winger Josh converted excellently.

Just before half time, Ross XI's concentration lapsed and allowed an equaliser for Ledbury. A good team talk at half time paved the way for Ross XI to score a second goal after 70 minutes. Fantastic work from midfielder Liam sent a ball through the defence for striker Callum to bury with consummate ease.
