MADAM, Wanting a National Express Coach Ticket, I went to the Heritage/Tourist centre in the Market House only to find it closed. So I wandered on down Broad Street only to be asked by no fewer than three different people where it was. I had to tell them it was closed and only open three days a week. What use is a Tourist Centre in the middle of Ross that is only part-time, on the build up to the busiest time of year?
How many other people will be wanting information about hotels etc during this time and won't be able to get the information required? On talking to various shop owners they have had many enquiries along the same lines.
I was born in Ross 60 years ago and this is the most stupid thing that could happen to our town. Goodbye tourists. Monmouth is ten miles.
