A free Pamper Afternoon to raise vital funds for West Mercia Women’s Aid will take place on July 18th at the Alcedonia Hair and Beauty Salon on Edde Cross Street. The event, which is being organised by local ladies Helen Lusty, Georgie Montague, Julianne English and Clare Jenkins, is offering a range of fabulous treatments including Blow Drys, Mini Facials and the chance to try out some fantastic natural products.

Helen Lusty, one of the main organisers, told the Ross Gazette that the event is being held in honour of the hugely important work West Mercia Women’s Aid carry out every year. She said: “At a time when their funding has been dramatically slashed, there’s never been a better time to support their fine work.”

Helen has her own personal experience of the charity and wants to create an afternoon experience that is designed to make women feel fabulous.

She told us that the event is open to all, you don’t have to be a domestic victim to come along - you can just turn up on the day.

Georgie Montague, owner of Alcedonia Hair and Beauty and co-hosting the event is herself celebrating 13 years salon ownership and amongst many of the fine natural treatments available on the day, ladies can try samples from the Tropic Skin Care range which is a 100% natural product with no added chemicals.
