AFTER a weekend without a game it was cup tie day for Juniors who were fortunate to be spoilt for choice as they had a 16 strong squad travel to Hereford.
They were facing the northern version of their own league's current leaders, a game that promised to be a big challenge. Coach Jim Loftus had some tough line-up decisions to make but with assertiveness he selected his eleven. Ross started strong and after eight minutes Andy Francis was chopped just outside the box, Jamie Warwick stepped up and curled the ball into the top corner.
Ross found their defence being split or carved open and it became more and more apparent that they were leaking goals.
