During refurbishment work at the premises occupied by Aubrey & Co, the accountants in Church Street, an unexpected tenant was discovered on a window ledge at the rear of the building.

The pigeon, who is sitting on two eggs in her nest, has been 'befriended' by the staff, who are looking forward to seeing if she hatches her eggs successfully.

A spokesman said they will give a full 'account' when they do.
