REBECCA BYARD, age 15, from The Lea, and Victoria Coterell, age 14 from Upton Bishop, were out on their ponies on Saturday collecting money for the charity 'Breast Cancer Care'.
Rebecca, on her pony Toby, and Victoria, on board Tanza, spent the day in the Lea and Bromsash areas and managed to raise £90.
One of the people they called on first was singer/songwriter Max Wilson in Bromsash and he was very impressed by the girls' imaginative pink pony display and handed over his beer money.
The girls became involved in collecting for the charity after a neighbour and friend of Rebecca's mother contracted the disease but has recovered.
