Several residents have voiced their concerns about some ‘building’ work at the Riverside Inn in Ross-on-Wye.  It looks as if someone has taken up the decking and reused the boards to create a type of pagoda or frame for a summer house.  

The Ross Gazette asked Herefordshire Council if planning permission for this work was in place.

Some residents, including former town councillors, suggested that there may be permission for an ice cream kiosk in the area.

A Herefordshire Council spokesperson said: “There have been no applications for planning permissions in this location. We will be investigating shortly.”
