A planning application has been lodged with Herefordshire Council regarding the creation of a new Lidl store in Ross-on-Wye.
The proposal is for a hybrid planning application which includes an application for full planning permission for the demolition of the existing Wolf Business Park buildings and the erection of a new Lidl food store. The store will be located at the Wolf Business Park on a site at the edge of the town centre and close to Hildersley.
The application is for an associated car park, landscaping and a new access to the proposed and retained employment land with associated works.
The outline application is for the erection of new employment premises on the retained employment land, and associated works.
The Consultation is due to end on Thursday, August 9th, and the target date for a decision is Wednesday, October 3rd.
A pre-application consultation event was held at the Chase Hotel on Thursday, April 12th when local residents were able to give their views on the proposed new Lidl store.
