Members of Ross for Refugees are collecting warm clothes, waterproof trousers, practical shoes and boots for refugees. They told the Gazette that these items are needed more than ever now that the temperatures are so low in Europe.

They are also calling on people to donate reusable cloth nappies and baby clothes which will go to Refugee camps in Syria, Somaliland, Uganda and Kashmir.

The Ross-on-Wye drop off point is the Globetrotter Coffee House in Broad Street.
