The issue of signage around Ross has been a long running saga in the town. One of the problems is that Ross has a one way system for drivers who refer to road signs. But pedestrians need signs which show them the best way to get from one place to another. These often contradict each other.
Members of ART recently discussed the matter and, at the meeting of Ross Town Council, a letter, which was to be sent to Councillor John Jarvis the leader of Herefordshire Council was presented.
Councillor Chris Bartrum presented a report to the meeting on February 13th. The planning for the signage in the town has been agreed and the question was asked why action had not yet been taken.
The report was considered a bit confusingby the Councillors. The clerk was asked to prepare a further letter which would be considered at the next full council meeting.
