There is a by-election in the West Ward of Ross-on-Wye today (Thursday, March 23rd.)

There are three candidates standing to be elected on to Ross Town Council. They are:

• Simeon Cole, Conservative

• Julian Utting, Liberal Democrats

• Jordan Creed, It’s Our County

Residents who live in the West Ward of Ross-on-Wye did not receive polling cards through the post; in February, the Council elected not to send them out, as they would increase the overall costs of the by-election.

However, eligible voters should be aware that they need to cast their ballot at Ross Bowling Club. This polling station will be open until 10pm tonight.If you live in Ross-on-Wye, and you are unsure which ward you live in, you can check here.
