Jesse Norman (Conservative) has been re-elected as the MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire.

The votes were as follows:

Anna Coda - Labour - 11,991

Lucy Hurds - Liberal Democrats - 3,556

Jim Kenyon - Independent - 5,560

Jesse Norman - 27,004

Gwyn Price - UKIP - 1,153

Mr Norman told the Ross Gazette: "I'm delighted how the election panned out, and to have increased the vote, gaining more than 50% of the overall vote."He added: "It's been an amazing opportunity over the past seven weeks to listen to voters. I will continue to fight for a better economy, better public services and more investment in our county in the years to come."The voter turnout in Hereford and South Herefordshire was 71%.
