The Post Office is considering re-opening Wormelow Post Office in the new Carrot and Wine Stores in the village, with much longer hours. The new post office would be open seven days a week from 7am – 9pm.

The Post Office closed in 2014 at the village shop, which has since been knocked down and rebuilt at the existing location. The Carrot and Wine store opened earlier this year and presented an opportunity to restore Post Office services to Wormelow.

The re-opening would be part of a major modernisation programme across the Post Office network.

The Post Office is inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move in a public consultation.

During the public consultation, Post Office Ltd welcomes feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken on this proposal.

The consultation will close on December 19th, 2017. Submissions can be made during the consultation by Freepost Your Comments to Post Office Ltd, via email to [email protected], via the Customer Helpline on 03457 22 33 44 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.

Customers can also share their views online through the quick and easy questionnaire which can be found at postofficeviews.co.uk and you will need to use the branch code 257618.
