Madam, Having returned from the chintzier parts of Gloucestershire it struck me they don't seem to have any street litter bins.

Herefordshire is different in that though you have plenty of bins it seems the natives much prefer to dump their detritus on every conceivable hedge and wayside.

Whether this is some offering to the Gods or vain hopes of making a fortune from plastic bag trees I know not.

Whoever you are, you're a bunch of dirty whatsits.
