Reanne Hulett is currently fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society, and taking part in a 10 day trek in China in October.
Reanne told the Ross Gazette: “My aim is to raise over £3000 for the charity, and I am doing this as my grandmother is suffering with this illness. Until last year, I had never really thought of the effects an illness like dementia can have. The last few months have taught me just how drastically lives can change, and how quickly too.
“My wonderful grandparents, Margaret and John Hulett, offered to host a coffee morning to help me raise some money. It was huge success and everyone was very generous!
“I want to thank everybody and let everyone know that we raised just over £700, which is incredible. This has taken my total to over £1800, all raised in nine weeks! A huge thank you to everyone who donated at this coffee morning and on my page so far.”

Reanne has lots of other events planned, which she will be advertising in the town and across social media.
She added: “Anyone who knows me know that exercise isn’t my thing, and that is why I am taking part in a 10 day trek in China. I want to raise as much money as I can, to make the lives of Alzheimer’s sufferers and their families just that little bit easier.”
