Lea residents gathered at Lea Village Hall on Wednesday, July 17th to celebrate the recently finished renovation work undertaken at the Village Hall by KW Bell Ltd.

Building Contractor, Keith Bell, donated and paid for the installation of a new kitchen in the Village Hall, which is now bright, spacious and modern.

In addition to this, a new dishwasher was paid for by the Lea Resident’s Association.

Keith snipped the ribbon to commemorate the opening of the recently refurbished room, and local residents and councillors celebrated the new addition with cakes, scones and pimms.

Jackie Hopkins, Chair of the Village Hall Committee, said: “The kitchen is finally finished - thank you so much to Keith and to the Lea Resident’s Association. We are so pleased.”See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
