Ross Court Care Home celebrated all things pink on Friday, October 19th, to raise money for the charity Breast Cancer Care.

The staff, residents and visitors dressed in pink, wore pink hats, enjoyed pink drinks and ate cakes and biscuits iced with pink.

The Deputy Mayor, Val Coker, attended along with some other members of the Ross Community, including some young children. The Care Home told the Ross Gazette: “They really brightened up proceedings as they played pass the balloon with the residents.”

Ross Court also won the competition run by Truffles Delicatessen, and won a ginger cake topped with pink icing.

A total of £113.00 was raised for Breast Cancer Care family and friends.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
