Nine full bags of rubbish, and a bed frame that was in the brook behind Morrisons, was collected on July 1st by members of the Ross Community Litter Clean Up Crew.
Jill Scammell told the Ross Gazette that there is still a lot to do in this area, especially educating anyone that smokes there.
She said: “Our young volunteers Sam and Amy picked up 172 fagbutts in two minutes.”
The next clean up is on Friday, July 13th, ahead of the Ross Community Garden open day.
Regular events are posted on their FB page and they really want to encourage people to sign up to the stop the drop the campaign, especially businesses. Jill said the group would love Ross to be the first town with all businesses signing up.
