Ross Golf Club teams celebrated double wins in recent matches against local rivals Burghill Valley.
In a friendly match, Ross C Team Captain, Bob Timms was blessed with a strong squad for his team versus Burghill Valley GC C team. A rare away victory for Ross provided a suitably enjoyable finish to Bob's season in charge. For Ross the points came from wins by Nick Swan and David Thrower 2/1, Eric Stephens and Graham Collins 3/2, Paul Reynhaert and Peter Chapman 4/3. Appropriately, it was the halved match result achieved by Skipper Bob Timms and partner Brian Clouder that set up his teams 3.5 points to 2.5 points victory.
