Ross Rowing Clubs did the double at Penarth Regatta over Monmouth on Saturday. They made light of the challenging sea conditions and won both the Ladies Open coxed IVs and Open Quadruple Sculls by two lengths against experienced opponents.
The crews were made up of Sally Pettipher, Emily Preece, Bethan Hunter, Geenie Watling and Geraldine Calcraft.
Last weekend marked the close of the regatta season. Competing crews now have long distance time trials known as 'Heads' to look forward to during the Winter.
