ROSS CC 1st XI played hosts to league leaders Old Vigornians in their latest Worcestershire County League Division 4 South match.
After losing the toss yet again Ross were invited to bat and made an impressive start on a wicket that had more pace than usual. With Jack Evans (64) and Bruno Warwick (35) once again leading the way, Ross rocketed to 91-1 off just 16 overs and a large total looked on the cards. However, a rain delay in which 14 overs were lost proved to be a decisive turning point.
