THE Ross-on-Wye man behind Heliflight UK is celebrating 30 Years of safe flying and unwavering commitment to customers across the UK.

Founded in March 1996 by Jon Lane, Heliflight UK has grown from a specialist helicopter operation into a trusted name in helicopter flight training, charter, maintenance, and aircraft management.

Over the past 30 years, the company has built a reputation for professionalism and putting safety at the heart of everything it does along with its technical excellence, and unwavering commitment to customers across the UK and beyond.

Mr Lane, managing director at Heliflight UK said that reaching the 30 years is a hugely significant milestone for the company and added: “It reflects the dedication of our team, the loyalty of our customers, and the strong relationships we’ve built with partners and regulators. We’re incredibly proud of our journey and excited about what the future holds.”

Operating from its base at Gloucestershire Airport, Heliflight UK has supported thousands of flight hours across private, commercial, and specialist operations.

The company is particularly recognised for its high standards training pilots who have gone on to successful careers throughout the aviation industry.

The anniversary also provides an opportunity to look ahead, with continued investment in people, facilities, and technology to ensure Heliflight UK remains at the forefront of helicopter services for decades to come.
