A local artist, Mary Deaville is offering free doodle tuition, to all age groups today (Tuesday, October 25th) at Croft Court in Ross-on-Wye, until 12pm.

Mary, who is a SAA Professional Associate, will be teaching people how to draw doodle designs, similar to the ones featured in the ever-popular adult colouring books.

At the event, Mary will also launch Deaville’s Doodle Design Competition. Once budding artists have had some practice, they can purchase a mini card for £1, when they will then draw their doodle design to enter the competition. All of the entries will be displayed in The Venue on Hill Street.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each age category: 5-9 years; 10-16 years; 17-21 years and 22-102 years.

Mary will be at Croft Court today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, between 10am and 12pm. If you are not able to attend, you can still enter the doodle competition until December 1st, by visiting Mary in her Studio, which is inside The Venue, and open from Monday until Friday.
