Ross-on-Wye is getting an autumnal splash of colour as local businesses replace their summer displays with hardy plants for the colder months.

Lalena Jewellery has refreshed its outdoor tubs, saying goodbye to its summer bedding plants and filling the planters with seasonal varieties ready for autumn.

The plants were bought from local traders Barbers Bridge Nurseries, who regularly attend the town’s market.

Sharing pictures of the newly planted tubs, Lalena Jewellery thanked the nursery and said the displays were “looking lovely” as autumn arrived in Ross.

The colourful planters have also received praise from residents, with one commenting that the tubs had looked lovely throughout the summer.

The seasonal change forms part of efforts by businesses to keep Ross looking colourful and welcoming throughout the year.
