Ross & District Labour Party will be holding a stall to collect donations for the Community Larder, in the Market Place in Ross-on-Wye, between 9am-2pm, which will also provide an opportunity for people to state their support for the NHS.
2018 is the 70th Anniversary of the creation of the NHS and there will be very few people - if any - who have not benefitted from its services during their lifetimes.
There will be a National Day of Action to support the NHS on Saturday, February 3rd with events being held all over the UK.
Ross & District Labour Party want to hear from local residents about the difficulties they have found in accessing medical services and social care, directly or indirectly.
If you are able, please bring along donations of tinned fruit or vegetables, hygiene products or baby supplies to the Labour Party Stall at the Market Place on Saturday morning 3rd February, 9am-2pm. The Community Larder will pass on donations to those in need of emergency food in times of crisis. The previous collection made just before Christmas was generously supported by the residents of Ross, and much appreciated by the Community Larder.
