Members of Ross for Refugees want to encourage local residents to sign the petition to bring more unaccompanied refugee children from Europe to Britain.
There are estimated to be 26-27,000 unaccompanied refugee children in Europe, some as young as 11.
Ross for refugees said: “It’s an urgent problem and I think we need to put pressure on the government to do more to help as many of these children as we can who are so very vulnerable.”

The next meeting for all volunteers is on Tuesday, February 23rd at 7pm at The Friends Meeting House in Ross-on-Wye. If you haven’t already joined but would like to get more involved, you will receive a warm welcome.
