Ross Town Council’s Facebook page has now gone live. This will give local residents regular updates about the work being done in the area by local Councillors.

Councillors Hannah Lerego, Daniel Lister and Caroline Bennett formed a working group earlier this year to set the page up.

Cllr Lerego told the Ross Gazette that the Facebook page will be used by the Council to put out information to the public, but local residents should not rely on the social media website to contact the Town Councillors. The best way in which to do this remains to be via email, telephone, writing a letter, or by calling in to the Council’s office, at the Corn Exchange on High Street. Full details can be found on the Town Council’s website.

The Town Council have also set up a petition for people to sign if they object to the lack of consultation relating to the introduction of parking at Ross Community Hospital. They have published a link to this online petition on their Facebook page.
