Thanks to their landlord at Palma Court, staff and volunteers based at Age UK Ross are expecting some exciting renovations to their offices in Brookend Street. However, so that this can happen they will have to move out temporarily.

Ross Town Council has sprung to the rescue and offered the charity some great spaces in their offices at Corn Exchange (which is above Rossiters bookshop). They will be operating from the Corn Exchange, at 7 High Street Ross-on-Wye from March 7th, with drop in available from Friday, March 8th, 1-3pm and appointments during the morning of March 8th, booking only.

The telephone numbers remain the same 01989 567165 or 01989 763887 and they will still be available by phone on Monday 10am-3pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-4pm. However, the drop in times will change from March 8th, Thursdays and Fridays 1-3pm. All their services will still be available and if you attend one of their footcare clinics you will be notified if the change of venue affects you.

The charity is grateful to the Town Council for their support and to Guy Drummond BGD Property Ltd for the soon to be new improved facilities.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
