The count to determine the new County Councillors and Ross-on-Wye Town Councillors began today at 9am, Friday, May 3rd.

The results are as follows:Ross North:Independent, Daniel Lister, and Liberal Democrats, Chris Bartrum, Dan Ciolte, Ian Gumm, Becky Howson, and John Winder have been elected.Cllr Lister received 326 votes, Cllr Ciolte received 383, Cllr Gumm received 355 votes, Cllr Winder received 360 votes. Cllr Coker received 189. Cllr Bartrum received the most votes with 537.Ross East:Independent candidate, David Ravenscroft, Conservative candidate, Phil Cutter, Liberal Democrats, Ed O’Driscoll, Paul Symonds, Beverly Pope and Tracey Burford have been elected. Cllr Symonds received the most votes with 681.Cllr Ravenscroft received 419 votes, Cllr Cutter received 409 votes, Cllr O’Driscoll received 515 votes, Cllr Pope received 508 votes, and Cllr Burford received 530.Ross West:Independent Robert Taylor, Conservative candidate, Simeon Cole, and Liberal Democrats, Louis Stark, Katie Fowler, Jane Roberts and Julian Utting have been elected.Cllr Stark received the most votes with 523. Cllr Roberts received 491 votes, Cllr Utting received 482 votes, just one more than Cllr Fowler who received 481.
