NEWS that the Crown & Sceptre has reopened was greeted warmly this week.

Having been closed for over a year, new landlord Gareth Bythell, is looking forward to welcoming new customers to his family-friendly pub. Apart from the real ales on offer, he will soon be reinstating the skittle alley and the dart room up stairs.

Gareth has returned to Ross after over twenty years away, and has run bars in Athens, Spain, Cheshire and most recently, Hereford.
